There are numerous close-ups of Frank Sinatra's gold watch, an “Evertime”. His watch becomes part of the plot or at least his watch strap does. There are also two extreme close-ups of a Breitling Top Time. The sound of a ticking watch is used in the soundtrack to great effect.
